What you're looking at today is the realization of a teenagers dream.

To build his very own fire pit.

He talked about it for months. Maybe for years.

He was taken to Home Hardware more than once to examine and measure various stones.

But one wondered if it would ever be.

I asked him, What motivated you this week to finally do it?
His answer: "Now that I have more time, it seemed like an even better idea and project. Also, this summer, I want to have more friends over and it'll be fun and great to have a fire pit."

So nothing to do with Lag B'Omer coming next week - but great timing!
